To all our friends and partners, warm greetings. Welcome to our annual report 2014. It’s a year since we started. We look back with gratitude, together with my team of fellow young people and our advisers, especially Mr. Bernd Bremicker who believed in our mission and gave us a good recommendation to Ryan and Emily Rauch of Luena Foundation. With their seed grant, our mission was set in motion to where we are now!
Education remains the cornerstone of lasting change. Because of you, RYIDNET provided tuition, scholastic materials, and livelihood assets to 100 orphaned and vulnerable children. Take Suprise, an orphaned girl who, before meeting RYIDNET, missed
her good school days tending to her young siblings. Today, she tops her class in mathematics and dreams of becoming an engineer.
Beyond food and school, you have empowered families with livelihood-strengthening resources, starting with goat farming. These resources when faithfully handled have potential to lift poor families out of poverty and restored dignity to parents and guardians who yearn to provide. With every proceed or harvest from these projects, hope is woven back into the fabric of family life for the poor.
