OUR STORY
Rwenzori Youth in Development Network is a community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable young people from impoverished families
Founded in 2021 by a group of young people, RYID-NET is a dynamic youth collective dedicated to empowering young individuals to take an active role in their community’s development. Through various initiatives and programs, RYID-NET inspires and mobilizes youth to engage with local issues, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth that has steadily gained momentum since its inception.
Our Mission
We empower young people with education and mentorship. We empower their families with resources to be food and income secure. We do this connection through their meaningful participation in agriculture
Our Vision
A community where families of vulnerable children and young people have access to opportunities that enhance their livelihoods, health, and education, enabling them to succeed and become active citizens.
Our Approach
Our initiative equips young individuals and vulnerable children from underprivileged backgrounds with essential resources and support, enabling them to lead healthy, dignified, and productive lives. We focus on enhancing their education, health, and economic opportunities, fostering resilience and self sufficiency in communities that need it most.
Our Belief
At RYID-NET, we believe that investing in the well-being of young people from poor families can make a significant impact on their education, health and overall development.
